Video - Methane is the Ticking Time Bomb Beneath the Ice



The permafrost -- the frozen ground that covers the top of the world has been melting for three decades. This is cause for concern beyond the far north.  Not only will this release methane trapped under the ice, but it will also release carbon. Together these two factors alone could significantly raise global temperatures.
